Luckily, EFVM makes leak testing green roofs straightforward.

Unlike other leak detection options, EFVM can test waterproof membranes without having to remove the overburden.

This makes it the perfect testing method for green roof systems, where the waterproof membrane is effectively fully submerged in water, posing a greater risk of a breach.

Many large scale green roof developments now utilise EFVM prior to and after overburden placement. EFVM has been successfully undertaken with soil more than 1m deep.  Clever, huh.
